Nipper Clipper
The Nipper Clipper is a dual‑workhead production/maintenance machine designed for efficient application and retraction of Safelok I® and Safelok III® rail clips—no tooling change‑out needed. A single operator can simultaneously apply 2 or 4 clips, improving productivity. Its built‑in third tie‑lifting workhead manages loose ties and ensures safe, precise clip re‑installation, minimizing lost parts and debris risk.
- Third 'Nipper' workhead picks up concrete rail
- Unique retraction tool releases the clip from the socket, retracts the clip, and precisely positions the clip at the end of the socket in preparation for re-installation
